Mother Gets To Hear Deceased Child’s Heartbeat Again In AMAZING Way (Video)

Nothing can compare to the heart wrenching loss of a child for any mother. After listening to a tiny heart beat for 9 months in her womb, nothing will ever fill her ears the way that small but powerful sound will. However, one mother was able to hear her deceased child’s heartbeat again in the most amazing way.

Heather Clark is one mother who has been through this tragedy. In 2013, her son Lukas died after a babysitter abused him. He struggled to stay alive for three days after his beating, but he eventually succumbed to his injuries. After this unbelievably sad and demoralizing situation, Heather made the tough decision to donate all of Lukas’ organs, in hopes that he could save others after his death. And she was right.
Around Thanksgiving, Heather contacted the family of 4-year-old Jordan Drake, the little girl whose life was saved thanks to baby Lukas’ heart donation. She even took to social media to tell the world about the beautiful little girl, Jordan. She wrote on the Facebook Page Justice For Lukas Scot, “This beauty is the girl who has Lukas’ heart beating in her. One day I will meet her and squeeze her so tightly!”

On Friday, Heather got her chance to meet little Jordan and give the adorable girl with the infectious smile the “tight squeeze” she wanted. But Heather got even more. She was handed a stethoscope to listen to the heart of her baby boy, beating inside the chest of this little girl, sustaining her life — a heart she hadn’t heard beating in over three years.
The Children’s Hospital in Phoenix even posted about the emotional event to their Facebook page saying “celebrating beautiful hearts.”
Organ donation offered little Jordan a chance she may not have had at life, and it has given Heather a sense of closure after losing her son before his life really even took a foothold. The silver lining is always there, and although Heather choked back tears listening to the heart of the little boy she only got seven months with beating in the chest of Jordan Drake, she had to have known that she made a good, albeit difficult, decision.
