Cops See Suitcase Floating In Pond, Look Inside To Make HORRID Discovery

It’s safe to say that police officers see some rather disturbing things throughout their careers. Unfortunately, officers with Bay County Sheriff’s department in Callaway, Florida have recently gained another incident for that list after being called to a home and noticing an old suitcase floating in a pond. However, they never could have expected what they found inside, and it was an absolutely grim discovery.

It all began after an unidentified boyfriend showed up at the town’s fire department with concerns that his girlfriend, Egypt Moneeck Robinson, had murdered her son. As one would imagine, the fire officials immediately contacted deputies to investigate further.
When deputies arrived at the couple’s home, Egypt was severely “distraught.” After questioning the young mother, it didn’t take long for her to admit that she had killed her baby. “Just put me into handcuffs,” Egypt said, according to Daily Mail. “I did it. I killed my baby and put him inside of the suitcase.” Shortly after her confession, she was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of a self-inflicted wound.

Meanwhile, deputies searched the couple’s property for the child. Sadly, they eventually found a black suitcase floating in 2-3 foot of water behind the couple’s home. When they peered inside, they found the remains of Egypt’s son, Aries Juan Acevedo.
The boy was approximately three-years-old and had been dead for longer than 24 hours before his body was found in the water. He is said to have died as a result of a stab wound. As for his mother, she is expected to be booked on murder charges.

According to the incident report, while Egypt was being transported to the sheriff’s office, she made several statements about the “impending end of the world.” She allegedly stated, “The world is going to flood and everyone was going to be drowned and I can’t be drowned, therefore, I have to be shot in the head,” Egypt declared. “I was just trying to save my baby!”
Robinson was indicted for 1st degree murder and prosecutors indicated the state would seek the death penalty in the case.

Although there are no reports indicating that the mother had shown any signs of mental instability before murdering her child, there had to have been warning signs leading up to the incident.
As a loved one, it may be difficult to admit that someone may be in need of help, but it’s better to take a leap of faith than to regret never saying anything to anyone and having a tragedy like this unfold. It’s simple, don’t take your loved ones for granted, our lives could unexpectedly be cut short at any given moment. If something doesn’t seem right, speak up. You could save a precious life.
