A Major Retail Store Is Putting Political Correctness In The Trash And Saying 'Merry Christmas' This Year
By Dreamer

Many moons ago, it was pretty standard practice for retailers to wish their shoppers a ‘Merry Christmas’ once they completed their shopping sprees. That simple phrase became frowned upon by the politically correct crowd as time moved forward, and most retailers adopted the neutral stance of offering up wishes of ‘Happy Holidays’ in a bid to appease all parties.
As Your Nation News reports, one major retailer is bucking that trend this year. The Gap intends to hitch its wagon back on the Merry Christmas train. The retailer will display signs that tout that phrase within the confines of its stores, after some encouragement from the American Family Association, which is a non-profit group that promotes Christian values.

The group claims that 80 percent of retailers have opted to say Merry Christmas as opposed to Happy Holidays, but the proof will be in the pudding when the jingle bells start ringing. No word on whether or not the Gap intends to also display signs touting Happy Holidays as well, or if the company has just gone full-on-rogue and decided to flush political correctness down the drain for the holidays.
