Couple Dies Within Minutes, Then Something Strange Is Seen On The Wall
By Dreamer

After being married for 63 years, a South Dakota couple proved the vow, “‘Til death do us part,” when they naturally died within minutes of each other. As two of their children sat by their bedside and said goodbye after their passing, they looked up in shock at what they saw on the wall.
Henry and Jeanette De Lange were married in 1953 and raised five children together. Jeanette, 87, suffered Alzheimers at the end of her life and was admitted into a nursing home five years ago. However, Henry never left her side, visiting his bride every day, until his health declined several weeks ago and he was sent to live in the same home and room as Jeanette.
“Dad visited mom once a day, twice, or maybe three times a day. It was very sweet,” the couple’s son, Lee De Lange, told KSFY.

The 86-year-old was struggling with prostate cancer, which was complicated by a few falls, and wasn’t doing well. The family got a call from the nursing home on July 31 to say that both Jeanette and Henry’s days were numbered and it was time to say goodbye. Two of the five children sat at their bedside as doctors told them that their father’s pulse was weak and expected he would go first. However, ten minutes after saying that, Jeanette passed.
“My brother Keith said to my dad, ‘Mom’s gone to heaven. You don’t have to fight anymore, you can go too if you want.’ He was laying in bed. He, for the first time, opened his eyes, looked intently over where mom was. Closed his eyes back down. Laid back down, died about five or 10 minutes after that,” Lee told the news station.
The moment was bittersweet, described by the family as the most beautiful way to die. As soon as their parents had slipped away, their two children looked up at the wall to note the time of death for their father. “So I looked at the clock and it said 5:30. That’s odd. I looked at the watch on my wrist, it said 5:55 p.m. It stopped at 5:30, the exact time dad passed away,” Lee recalled of the unexplainable clock event.
Lee is certain that his parent’s passing was in God’s time and the clock stopping the second his father passed away, just moments after the love of his life let go, was a sign that this was the right time. This couldn’t have been a coincidence. It was a reminder that God is always in control of His plan.
