There have been many instances where customers have left behind something less-than-kind for their waiters to find. However, what a waiter from Texas recently discovered scribbled on his receipt has gone viral, and people across the country have been left in disbelief over what it said.

The story behind the unbelievable receipt has begun to go viral after the waiter’s girlfriend, Taryn Keith, was left utterly shocked when he came home to show her what the customer had left behind, and the chain of events was shared online.
The duo are expecting their first child, and considering the waiter is from Ireland, they both hope to travel and show off their new bundle of joy to his family. When a recent customer learned what the waiter was working towards, they decided to leave a mark on the man’s life – with a whopping $750 tip.
Along with the hefty tip, the kind customer scribbled a short message that read, “Hopefully, this can get you back to Ireland for the holidays.” There aren’t many people who would give this large sum of money to anyone, much less a complete stranger.

“My boyfriend got this tip last night at work,” Taryn explained, according to Love What Matters. “He’s from Ireland and is trying to take us back there once Killian is born so we can meet his family. Thought I would share to show everyone there’s not only hate out there. Truly blessed.”
Faith in humanity restored, just when we all thought there was little hope left. No matter what is being shown on the news, there are so many amazing people out there — and there’s far more good than bad.
While not all of us have the means to bless someone in such a huge way, this is still a good reminder that we can be the change we hope to see in the world, using whatever blessings we do have to help others. We don’t need to wait for a miracle, we can be that miracle for someone, making the world a beautiful and kind place.
