Police in Portland, Oregon, are searching for suspects after a former Marine's car was set on fire and vandalized with the phrase, "FK Trump."
A Ford Mustang belonging to Jermaine Streeter, a former Marine, was set on fire and spray painted with the phrase "FK Trump" because the car had a pro-Trump bumper sticker. Another car was also sprayed with the same phrase, but not set ablaze.

Portland firefighters responded to a car fire call at around 12:30 a.m. When the fire was put out, firefighters noticed the graffiti on the side of the car.

Streeter says he was surprised to see the vandalism and destruction in Portland.
"Being a former Marine, you don't expect to see this in your hometown," Streeter told KTVB. "It's frustrating. I felt hurt at the same time because I didn't do anything to anybody."
The veteran says he feels that the destruction of property is not going to solve anything.
"I just feel with all the hatred it's not going to change anything," he said. "The U.S. has spoken and they've picked Trump as the next president. Rioting, destroying things isn't going to get your way and the younger generation needs to know how things work in life."
The owner of the other vandalized vehicle, Chevonne Ball, says she agrees with Streeter.
"I understand we're in a fragile time right now and everyone is angry, sad and confused but clearly vandalism and violence aren't the answer," Ballsaid. "It just causes more problems."

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a reward of $1,000 for anybody able to provide information about the suspect or suspects in the case.
According to KTVB, a witness described hearing what he thought was an explosion and told police that he see a person jumping in place next to the burning Mustang before fleeing and running down 9th Avenue. The suspect was thin, average height, and was wearing dark clothing.
