Chick-Fil-A Diner Floored By What He Found Left Behind On Abandoned Table
By Dreamer

Eric Comfort ran into his local Chick-fil-A restaurant Monday, to grab a bite to eat from his favorite business, when he was stopped dead in his tracks. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a scene left behind on an abandoned table in the dining area, that took him by complete surprise.
The stunned Georgia resident snapped a picture of what he saw before talking to the manager about it, so he could share it on social media. The table had several items of importance, along with a sign that we all need to read and remember.
Out of respect for God, country, and the men and women who died serving or are currently active duty, the Chick-fil-A in Marietta wanted to show their support this Veterans Day. The table, referred to as the “Missing Man Table,” was set for all members of our armed force who have or are standing on the front lines, and their loved ones who miss them.

A sign explaining the rich symbolism of each piece that was set out, said that the white table-cloth represents “the purity of their motives when answering the call of duty,” while the single red rose “reminds us of the life of each of the missing and their loved ones and friends of these Americans who keep the faith, awaiting answers.”
The ribbon around the vase serves as a reminder of our country’s dedication to finding each unaccounted for soldier, who has gone missing in the line of duty, and the pinch of salt is for the tears shed over the fallen. But perhaps the most important thing set out on that table, is what many Americans need reminding of today.
The Bible placed to the right of the empty glass “represents the strength gained through faith to sustain those lost from our country, founded as one nation under God,” the frame sign said. The latter half of that statement seems to have been forgotten under two terms of this current administration, where much is done in our nation against its foundation.
Eric shared the photo to Facebook, along with a statement about this being why Chick-fil-A is so loved in the great state of Georgia. He couldn’t be more correct, but that also goes for the restaurant’s reputation nationwide. They have built their business on gratitude, helping others, and thanking all those who deserve it from every walk of life. They represent the patriotism and religious values that made our country great, and we desperately need more of that now than ever.
