Cashier Approaches White Boys Playing Game, Didn’t See Who Was Watching

A cashier at a grocery store has become Internet famous after spotting two white boys playing a claw game in the store. As he approached the two, he didn’t know anyone was watching, but what he’d do next was all caught on camera. Now, it’s going viral.
It all started when a cashier by the name of Lamont went on break and saw Jaclyn Schaeffer’s two boys hovering around “The Claw” game. The mother became surprised when she saw her sons playing the game since she hadn’t given them any money.
“They didn’t ask me for money to play (that’s a shock) and I didn’t notice them ask anyone around them (I would have been mortified),” she later explained in a Facebook post. She’d quickly learn how her sons landed some cash for their little bit of fun, and it all stemmed from Lamont’s good will.

“Zander quickly and excitedly ran up to show me the stuffed animal he had so proudly won and exclaimed that this ‘nice teenager’ put money in the machine so he could play,” Jacklyn recalled. Come to find out, while Lamont was on his break and saw the two drooling over all the neat stuff inside the glass box, he decided to do something nice.
Without knowing anyone was watching, he took a few quarters he had on him and put them in the machine so the boys could play. “No one asked him to put money in the machine so my boys could play, this humble, young man did it out of the goodness/kindness in his heart,” the astounded mother wrote. “The boys and I thanked him numerous times.”
With all the divisive rhetoric circulating our nation right now, this is exactly the kind of thing that we could use more of in America — simple acts of kindness that go a long way. If a teen on his break can take time out to spread a little love, I think we’re all capable of doing the same.
