School photos tend to be a little dull. You sit, you smile, and you're most likely not thrilled with the resulting photo but you learn to live with it. That was far from the case for 3-year-old Kaylieann Steinbach, who has one of the best school photos we've ever seen.
The toddler's parents let her dress herself for picture day, and Kaylieann decided to go with a Supergirl costume.
When she came walking down the stairs in her Supergirl costume complete with cape billowing behind, her parents saw how happy and proud she was to be donning the “S” symbol on her chest. All they could do was laugh.
Austin told The Huffington Post Kaylieann has severe hearing loss and cannot hear the letter “S” so she calls her favorite superheroes, Superman and Supergirl, “Pooterman” and “Pootergirl.”
They had their apprehensions at first about Kaylieann wearing the outfit because it was picture day but those dissipated quickly and they allowed their daughter to go to school dressed as Superwoman.
Not only did she wear her costume for the photo, but she posed with her favorite Superman action figure, too. If you haven't guessed by now, Kaylieann's a little superhero fanatic, previously opting to wear Batman or Wonder Woman costumes to preschool. We like your style, Kaylieann.
Her proud dad gave the colorful costume a thumbs up, and posted the adorable photo on Reddit.
