Stranger Buys Couple The Wedding Of Their Dreams, You’ll Never Guess Who It Was

Paul Walker, best known for his role in The Fast and The Furious films, passed away back in 2013 at the way-too-young age of 40. While he’s remembered fondly for his work on the big and small screens, he’s also been remembered for having an enormous heart that manifested itself in different ways. According to the Daily Mail, that was the case back in 2004, when he happened to be in a jewelry store at the same time as a young military couple.
The starstruck couple, Kyle and Kristen Upham, struck up a conversation with the actor. Kyle revealed that he had just come back from a tour of duty in Iraq, and that drew Walker’s admiration.
“When he found out Kyle just came back from Iraq - I remember seeing the look in his face. He kind of transformed,” Kristen recalls.

They would go their separate ways, and the couple would leave the store without the $9,000 ring they had their hearts set on as it was simply out of their price range. A short time later, they would receive a curious phone call from the jewelry store manager to return to the store, where they would be presented with the ring.
The couple long suspected that Walker was behind the kind act, but jewelry store employees were sworn to secrecy. Upon his death, an employee at the store felt it was important to let everyone know one more thing that made Walker truly special.
