Mother Is Shocked When Cops Come For Her Boy, 2 Simple Words Changed His Life Forever
By Dreamer

An Arkansas mother’s heart dropped when four police officers showed up at her house for her 10-year-old boy. Although what they had to say definitely impacted the boy’s perspective on life, they uttered two simple words that would change his life forever.
No parent likes to see their children in pain. However, when Angela Andrews saw her 10-year-old son, Toxey Ahrabli, devastated after none of his classmates showed up to his birthday party, she was left absolutely heartbroken. The helpless mother wrote about the sad news on her Facebook page, never expecting anything other than uplifting comments from her family and friends.

Two days later, Angela was nervous when several Arkansas State Troopers knocked on her door, looking for her son. “Scared and at the same time trying to figure out why they were here,” Toxey admitted about what he was thinking when they showed up, according to Daily Mail. His fear was quickly eliminated when the officers spoke two simple words — Happy Birthday.

When they officers had heard about Angela’s devastating Facebook post, they took it upon themselves to give the boy a birthday party he would always remember. Not only did they show up to cheer him up, but they also brought a cake, several presents (video games, a Frisbee and a razor skateboard), and even let him sit in the patrol car.

“They showed me all the keys to do the sirens and the horn,” Toxey explained, according to Right Wing News. “I also got to see the cage with the dog in it.” He continued, “They had come to give me all that stuff and make up their own birthday party for me. I cried a little bit because they did that for me.”

Arkansas State Police later identified the officers as “Cpl David Frothman and troopers Terry Sawyer, Kyle Sheldon, Brandon Cook and Tim Callison,” according to WHIO. Although this story had a happy ending, Angela sends a plea to other parents. “If your kids get invited to birthdays, take them,” she said.

After the troopers left their surprise birthday party for Toxey, Angela posted a long thank you on Facebook for the officers’ good deed.
It’s a shame that police officers have been given such a negative reputation from the media, when the majority of them are good and kindhearted people. They risk their lives on a daily basis to ensure the safety of citizens and even go out of their way to make those same citizens happy. Not only do these five Arkansas Officers need recognition for their kind gesture, but all of America’s officers should be getting the respect that they deserve – and then some.
