Officer Returns To His Car & Notices Paper, Left JAW DROPPED By Scrawled Message
By Timfly

A San Antonio, Texas police officer was in for a bit of a surprise after returning to his car to find a piece of paper placed on his window. However, once seeing the message scrawled inside, he quickly took a photo and posted it online, where it is spreading like wildfire – and with good reason.
Photo of the note was posted to Facebook via the San Antonio Police Officers Association with the description saying Officer Cameron Helle found it when returning to his car after lunch. In its entirety, the note read:
“Had your back as long as I could stay. Gotta get home to my babies. God bless y’all. Blue lives matter. All lives matter.”
Signing off with a quick “thank you,” the only description of the author given was simply, “a mom.”

As one would imagine, given the current state of our nation, he was a bit more than surprised to see such support. “My heart was warm,” Helle said to KENS 5. “Especially with everything going on right now, it felt awesome.”
The officer went on to say that his first thought was to reach out and attempt to find the Good Samaritan who took it upon themselves to keep an eye out for Helle and even took to Facebook to find her. The image was subsequently posted to the previously noted page, where it has already garnered about 600 likes and an additional 200 shares in all.
“They actually do have our backs, and that’s why I love San Antonio so much,” Helle said. “It’s amazing that I found that note. Hopefully another officer gets that somewhere else.” In the meantime, he states that he will continue his search for the mother in order to give her a proper thank you.
