Man Sneaks Up Behind Woman, Shocked When She Sees What’s With Him

A shopper inside a Louisiana Target was preparing to check out when he looked out the front windows and saw a large black man moving toward a white woman in the parking lot as she was attempting to get to her car. He watched as the woman turned around and noticed that she wasn’t alone. Then, the onlooker immediately realized what the man was doing the second the woman looked up in shock.
Deepak Saini said he was at the store location in the town on Kenner when the surprising scene quickly unfolded before him. It was a rather dark afternoon, and he was getting ready to leave when he glanced out the window and a few fellow shoppers caught his eye. He noticed this particular African-American, who took a specific interest in women and children outside the store earlier, but he didn’t think much of it until the moment he realized what he was up to.
Storm clouds had moved in, and it had started to downpour. Several customers waited at the front of the store for the rain to stop, rather than risk getting soaking wet. Other busy moms, who had places to be, didn’t have time to wait and braved the storm to get to their cars with carts full of groceries when the unnamed black man seized the moment.
In his now-viral post about the remarkable incident, Saini wrote that this kind gentleman acted as a personal escort to every woman, mom, and their children, walking alongside them and holding an umbrella over their heads to keep them dry. This thoughtful act that occurred this week impressed Saini now more than it would have perhaps ever before, considering the divisiveness, violence, and hate that’s pulsed through our nation in the race war that’s recently reemerged.

“I’m sure he was busy and had his own family to return to. But in that moment, it didn’t matter that he was black and the woman in this picture was white,” Saini said. This good Samaritan didn’t see skin color, he saw another human in need and decided to be the solution.
“Right now we seem so focused on race and are letting ourselves be painfully divided,” Saini added in his post. “Kindness is something we all need to give to each other right now and let this man be an example.”
Negativity always gets more attention than the good that happens all around us every day. The focus is misplaced on the wrong people, who are empowered by the constant exposure and whose cause thrives on it. It’s time to praise the positive that is out there, which will start to bring about the change in the communities that need it and our country as a whole, which protesters only say they want but constantly prove the opposite with their actions.
