Homeless Woman's 'Offer' Quickly Goes Viral

A homeless Tennessee woman has been receiving attention for her roadside sign, which indicates that she is offering to pray with any passerby who wishes to do so.
Aneitra Kincy, who sits on the side of Lee Highway near Highway 153 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, holds a sign that reads, "I'll Pray With You," WTVC reported. "The flip side of the sign reportedly reads, "For God so loved the world."
Kincy said she would pray with anyone who stopped.
"If they want to get prayer for personal stuff and certain things I ask if they feel like talking about it," she told WTVC. "Some do and some don't."
The kindhearted woman explained that she had left what she described as a "rough life" in Atlanta to move to Chattanooga.
"I got rid of my cell phone and tablet and the people in my life and emptied my life out for Christ and homelessness and that's what I'm doing now," Kincy said.
"I had to show [Christ in] a personal way that I understood the life change that he was expecting me to make," she added.
Kincy sits in a chair by the roadside with an umbrella to shade her from the sun, and a small backpack of her possessions. She said that when people offer her money, she tells them that she only needs food and water to survive.
Rachel, a driver who stopped to give Kincy food and water, told her that "it's people like you who are going to make the world a better place," according to WTVC. Kincy thanked her and said that she would pray for her.
According to statistics published by the National Alliance to End Homelessness, a total of 564,708 people were homeless on a given night in the U.S. in January 2015. Of that number, 358,222 people are individuals without families.
