This Mother Is Shocked By Teen's Encounter With Her 2-Year-Old Daughter

According to a Facebook post from Megan Shufflebarger, she and her three children were shopping for her little girl’s birthday on October 22 when she spotted the teen and his girlfriend in the same section. Apparently, the teen could overhear Shufflebarger’s toddler daughter gawking over all the toys, and he approached her shortly after.
“We were in target tonight and this younger couple was walking thru the toy aisles listening to Kinley ooh and ahhh and make her birthday list of doll goodies,” the post read. “He asked her which one she picked out and she showed him and said yeah and I really lub dis one.”
The teen chuckled with the little girl, then he took the toy and walked away with it. Kinley, Shufflebarger’s daughter, asked her mother where the doll went after the teen walked off with it, and her mother simply told her to pick out another, even though she thought the teen’s behavior was “odd.” But then the unexpected happened.
The teen returned a few minutes later with the doll in a bag and handed Shufflebarger a receipt. He then handed Kinley the doll and wished her a happy birthday.
“I was speechless,” Shufflebarger told CBS News, according to WTSP. She thanked the teen and he walked away.
Shufflebarger shared her story in the hopes that someone in the the area would know who the teen is. Thousands of shares later it was determined that the teen’s name was Tario Fuller II, a freshman football player at Purdue University.
“This one act of kindness has likely generated thousands of smiles, softened many hearts and inspired others,” Shufflebarger told WTSP.
“That in and of itself makes my heart full and happy," she added.
It’s awesome to know there’s still good kids out there, who were raised right by good parents, and they aren’t afraid to go out of their way for someone else.
