Meet Caden Jackson of Simpsonville, South Carolina. At just 8-years-old, he has already developed more character than some adults develop in an entire lifetime.
Over the last year, Caden has been persistently growing out his hair. He let it grow out to the point where it went slightly past his shoulder. While some may assume this youngster simply hates getting hair cuts, Caden did this for a much bigger reason.
In honor of his father and two brothers, Caden grew out his hair with the intention of donating it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. Through this organization, his hair was transformed into a wig and then donated to a woman who has lost her hair due to cancer treatments.
Many women regard hair loss as the single worst side effect of cancer treatments. These wigs, which are provided free of charge, help make the treatment experience a little less stressful.
While growing out his hair, Caden was constantly teased, mocked, and bullied at school for “looking like a girl”. However, he didn’t let that stop him from achieving his goal. On May 22nd, he cut off the locks and made a sick woman’s day!

He has been bullied at school, called a girl and received any number of insults. But he stood his ground and waited on his hair to grow long enough. Today was the day. He is sporting a great new look and we’re mailing off the hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths.
