Baby Girl Embraced Dying Twin Sister. What Followed Shocked The World
By Timfly

Kyrie and Brielle Jackson were born well before their due date and weighed less than 2 pounds. They were far under developed and doctors didn't think they had a chance to survive.

One baby was not expected to live, and after a couple weeks she began turning blue because she was crying so hard she couldn't breathe. A hospital nurse fought to put them in the same incubator.
Then A Miracle occurred! Doctors placed both girls in the same incubator and soon after the babies actually hugged! Brielle put her hand on her sister and immediately her condition improved.

In due time, the twins went home. Their parents placed them, once again, in the same bed where they continued to thrive. Even after five years, according to mom and dad, the twins still slept together and, not surprisingly, still snuggled.
20 years later they are healthy and look great. They are lucky the doctors put them together in an incubator because the power of touch saved their lives.

The photograph of Kyrie hugging her little sister, dubbed the “Rescuing Hug,” appeared in both Life magazine and Reader’s Digest. In addition, clinical studies have shown that premature twins enjoy substantial benefits when they are placed in the same bed together.
