Women Completely Embarrassed A US Solider And Then Suddenly Something Great Occurred...

Every day soldiers have put their life on the line to serve their country. Active soldiers and veterans are given discounts at many stores and restaurants throughout the country as a thank you for their service.
Those brave people that are fighting for their country, or have fought in the past do not expect these discounts, but it is appreciated.

One ex-military officer who has done two tours in Afghanistan walked into a fast food restaurant to enjoy a meal.
He figured he would ask if this particular establishment offered the military discount, and what happened next is shocking.

The vet wrote about his experience on Facebook. He says ‘ as a military vet who has served two tours in Afghanistan, and I’m still on active duty (though I’m now stationed locally in the US).
He continues saying ‘I don’t expect special treatment from civilians for my service, but I do know that many stores offer discounts to active military personnel so I usually ask cashiers if they offer the discount.’

He says ‘today, I encountered someone really rude when I asked- and it wasn’t the cashier. I had to say something.’

The ex military officer posted the interaction on his Facebook account. It went like this:
Me (ex-military officer): Do you offer a military discount?
Cashier: No sir we don't.
Lady in line behind me: Rude…
*Cashier and I stare blankly at her

Lady: All of you think you're entitled because you're in the military deserve special privileges. My God…
Me: No ma'am. It's a discount, not a privilege. A privilege is being able to go home to your family every night because some people willingly give up their 'privileges' so people like you can have them.

Lady: ………
Lady: ………
Me: *Turns to cashier Sorry if asking for a discount offended YOU.
Man at the back of line: Here's your military discount. *pays for my meal*
Man's Wife: You deserve it… for having to put up with [expletives] like her.

It is unfortunate that this hardworking ex military officer was treated so poorly by that woman. But thankfully there are still generous people like the kind man in the lineup.
