Toddler Waves To The Same Police Officer Every Morning. Then One Day, He Drops Something Into Her Car Seat...
By Timfly

A North Carolina mother hopes to publicly thank a kindhearted police officer who always goes out of his way to make her little girl feel extra special.
As WSOC-TV reports, Charlotte mom Emily Barrowclough takes her 2-year-old daughter on the same route to her daycare program each morning.
Barrowclough told the station that her toddler, Brennan, always looks forward to their morning daycare run because it means she gets to say hello to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer Scott DelDuca.
While the pair only catches DelDuca when they pass by Charlotte Christian School, those few seconds are all Brennan needs to make her day.
Although their interactions never last any longer than 10 seconds, Barrowclough says Brennan adores waving and smiling at DelDuca because he always returns her excited greetings.
Last Monday, Brennan was ecstatic when she received an extra special surprise from her favorite police officer. DelDuca dropped a fluffy teddy bear into her car seat when they passed one another.

Brennan adores her new teddy bear! Barrowclough also says the officer’s friendliness alone means more to her family than DelDuca could ever know.
“Our interactions last maybe eight seconds,” she told the station. “Even with that minute time, he has imprinted on my daughter that police officers are trustworthy, kind and want to keep us safe.”
