Woman reportedly assaults TSA agents over confiscated apple juice, WOW

Arrest documents reveal that Makiah Coleman, a 19-year-old woman, injured three TSA agents at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on Tuesday, reportedly in response to the agents confiscating her apple juice at a security checkpoint. According to Fox 10 Phoenix, Coleman became angry and physically attacked the agents after they removed her juice.

The probable cause statement states that she climbed over a table, hit an agent on the head, punched and pulled the hair of a second agent, and even bit a third agent who tried to intervene. As a result of the incident, two of the agents were hospitalized, and about 450 travelers were redirected to another checkpoint, causing significant inconvenience. A TSA spokesperson called the incident unfortunate, noting that it resulted in both injuries and inconvenience for many travelers.
Coleman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage and disorderly conduct.
The two agents hospitalized were released after treatment.
