DIY Baby Puff Blanket

By Timfly

Here is a cute and fun baby quilt idea perfect for moms to be or babies.  If you're trying to figure out the perfect present for an expecting mother or a baby's upcoming birthday, then look no further.  There is nothing more caring than a handmade gift especially a quilted blanket that can be kept forever.

Simply pick a bunch of colorful scrap fabrics and cut them into squares. On average, you should cut them in sizes of 6 by 6 inches. You will need 66 of these in all to have a good sizes quilt. Place 11 on either side, and 6 each for the top and bottom.
Cut smaller squares measuring 4.5 by 4.5 inches and place them one by one underneath the previously cut squares. Then start pinning the corner of one square to the corner of the square above. Do this with all the four corners until you have completed all 66 of them.
