By daisydoll

When Easter rolls around, we don’t know about you, but we look forward to a lot of sweet treats. And this Pink When sugar cookie bars recipe looks like just what the Easter bunny ordered. These sweet bars are very simple to make and remind us of Easter with lovely pastel colors.
Here’s what you need:
1 egg
1 egg white
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1 1/2 Tbsp sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
11 oz. bag Ghiradelli white chocolate chips
1 bag of chocolate M&Ms
Sprinkles (optional, but too fun to not include)
And here’s what you do:
Preheat oven to 375 and line a 9X13 baking dish with tin foil. Coat the foil with some nonstick cooking spray.
Cream butter and sugar in a mixer until creamy and well mixed.
Add in the sour cream, egg, egg white, vanilla and almond extract. Combine well with butter and sugar.
Add in the flour, salt, and baking powder and mix well.
Sprinkle in white chocolate chips and combine.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth out. Cover the top in sprinkles and M&Ms.
Bake in preheated oven for 18-20 minutes.
Remove from oven, then place on a cooling rack for about an hour. Once cool, cut into bars and serve!
