Cure back acne fast with these easy 7+ home remedies

Dealing with acne can be challenging, especially when you already have to deal with it on your face. So when it appears on your back, it can be a real headache. This area is almost impossible to see completely or reach it to apply a topical remedy. How are you supposed to keep it under control?

Fortunately, you have a lot of different options for reigning in your acne. Finding ways to keep the pores unclogged and too much oil and sweat from sitting on your skin is where you should start. Here are 7+ ways to treat your back acne.

1. Coffee exfoliate. In order to keep the pores clogged, Healthline recommends using an exfoliate regularly. You can make your own from 1 cup ground coffee, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup coconut oil, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. Melt the coconut oil and add the other ingredients.

2. Brown sugar scrub. You can make a brown sugar exfoliate from 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon olive oil.

3. Tea tree oil. Healthline reports that tea tree oil has been shown to kill bacteria on the skin. You can try spot treating acne patches by using tea tree oil cut with a carrier oil and placing it directly on the skin

4. Witch hazel. If you want a natural astringent, WebMD says you can try using witch hazel on the acne. Apply this directly to the skin using a cotton swab.

5. Oatmeal bath. Oatmeal is also soothing to irritated skin and may help absorb oil, according to Reader's Digest. Add 1/2 cup of finely ground oatmeal to a tub of warm water and soak.

6. Epsom salt soak. To soothe your skin and dry out the oil, Reader's Digest suggests trying an Epsom salt bath. Add 1/2 cup of salt to a tub of water and soak for 20 minutes or more.

7. Moisturize. After showering, the Reader's Digest reminds you to moisturize the skin, keeping the oil glands from being kicked into overproduction. Be sure to apply the moisturizer lightly, though, so you don't clog the pores.

8. Shower. For a practical remedy, the Huffington Post says to be sure you shower regularly and especially after working out.

9. Laundry detergent. Some people have a problem with breaking out because of an allergic reaction to laundry detergent. Huffington Post recommends using a dye-free, unscented laundry soap and fabric softener.

Wearing tank tops doesn't have to be embarrassing anymore. With a little care, you may be able to drastically reduce your back acne.
