People Sick At Store Display After Seeing What Sign Says — Not Coming Down
By Timfly

Some retail stores are doing something very different with their displays. It seems to be a new trend that certain shoppers don’t like after seeing what the signs say. However, no matter how mad they get, the signage and the sentiment it displays are not coming down.

There’s one thing we haven’t seen in years that makes these displays a marvelous sight to behold...
Walmart has already begun adding Christ back into Christmas with their latest commercial which shows a family praying together. Perhaps the retailer took note of the outrage from their shoppers in previous Christmas seasons when they instructed their greeters to say “Happy Holidays” in place of “Merry Christmas.” Now we are seeing Merry Christmas brought back in stores.
In previous years we have seen cases where the Christmas tree, as well as Nativity scenes, have not been permitted to be displayed in public settings altogether. Also, several US chain retailers, such as Walmart, Macy's, and Sears, had replaced "merry Christmas" with "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings." But this year things are changing and stores are bringing Christ back into Christmas.

The Gap, which is a large retail store in the United States also decided that it was going to ditch political correctness. They decided that they are not going to adhere to political correctness this year and say “Merry Christmas” to the people who shop at their store. The American Family Association is celebrating this change. They have stated that they are the reason The Gap is deciding to say “Merry Christmas” instead of Happy Holidays.” The American Family Association is known for getting people to ditch political correctness.
The American Family Association has reported that 80 percent of retailers have opted to say “Merry Christmas” instead of “Happy Holidays.” The organization has been attempting to reverse this trend for the past eight years. They provide people with the resources they need in order to implement the change in their communities. They also organize campaigns in various communities that encourage people to reverse the trend of political correctness.
The Gap will be placing signs inside of their stores that say “Merry Christmas.” This marks a major change for Gap, Inc. In the past, the company was adhering to political correctness by telling people “Happy Holidays” and putting out signs that stated the same.
