Trump Finds Out 200 Marines Are Stranded So He Does THIS In Response… WOW!

As Operation Desert Storm came to an end in 1991, soldiers were anxious to get home and see their loved ones. For one group of 200 soldiers a scheduling mishap sent them to Camp Lejeune in North Carolina instead of to their home base in Miami. The Marines wanted nothing but to get back to home to wives, children, family and friends. The delay in Camp Lejeune was making a tough trip home even tougher.
Word got out that the Marines were stranded and needed to get back home to Miami ASAP. This is when one private citizen decided to take it upon himself to get the Marines home. According to Corporal Ryan Stickney, one of the 200 stranded Marines, Donald Trump came to the rescue. Trump utilized his own jet to make two trips between Camp Lejeune and Miami to get these soldiers home to their family and friends.
Corporal Stickney didn’t know who Trump was at the time, what he did know is that he and the other soldiers were grateful for Donald Trump. His donation meant that the soldiers were able to be with their friends and family and celebrate their homecoming. Stickney furthered noted that he hadn’t seen any other Presidential candidate do anything similar to help support the troops.
Stickney is now speaking up and thanking Donald Trump for his kindness on that difficult day for so many men. “It may not seem like much to most people, but it was very important to a bunch of jar heads and more importantly their families waiting for them on the hot tarmac,” said Stickney, according to Hannity. “I have not seen a Clinton or Sanders plane, or anything else for that matter, sent to support the troops,” Stickney added.
Trump provided this kind gesture to these Marines fifteen years ago, but he kept what he did private. Donald Trump could easily be called a hero for doing what he did for those Marines on that day. Although he may have a few secrets in his closet, as everyone does, this was by far one of the kindest things any presidential candidate has ever done for service members – far before a campaign was ever even considered.
