Little Boy Throws Up Every Day Because Of How Badly He's Bullied, Then Things Take Unexpected Turn

Two high school football players have started an organization to help stop bullying.
Chris Kuykendall plays football at Hobbs High School in New Mexico. He is using his popularity to help stop bullying, Shareably reported.
Chris said he was a victim of bullying when he was younger. When he heard about a 5-year-old boy who would throw up every morning before school because of bullying, Chris said he knew he had to do something.
“It just hit home,” Chris said on The Meredith Vieira Show. “I remembered how I felt when I was getting bullied. It just fired me up. I wanted to change that right then and there. I didn’t want him to go another day, wake up another day, feeling like he didn’t need to go to school.”
Chris invited the boy to have lunch with him at school. When the bullies saw the boy having lunch with the football star, the bullying stopped.
“After we had lunch, his mom kept up with us and just told (us) he’s doing a lot better,” Chris said. “He was ready to go to school, playing on the playground. It opened him up.”
Brevin, Chris’s teammate, was moved by Chris’s actions. Together, they started the Eagle Buddies, an organization that pairs athletes with kids who are victims of bullying.
“I was bullied as a kid and I felt like I didn’t have anybody there to lean on,” Brevin said. “And just thinking back on how I felt about it, I wanted to make sure another kid didn’t feel like that.”
