He Hears Loud Noise Out Front, Snaps Pic When He Sees What Teen Was Doing

While minding his own business in his home, a California man was puzzled by a recent series of events. In fact, it was only after he heard a noise in his front yard that he took a picture as he saw what a teen was doing – and it’s left quite a few people stunned.
Ryan Cox states that he was bit perplexed when a 14-year-old teen came to his home in Oakdale, California. However, the homeowner found out what the boy actually wanted. As it turns out, he was looking to earn some money and offered to mow Ryan’s lawn for just $5.

Further intrigued at this point, Ryan then asked the boy why he needed the money, but he was not expecting the response he was about to get. “I’d like to take my girlfriend to lunch tomorrow and I don’t have enough money,” the teen explained.
The boy wasn’t looking for a handout and wasn’t afraid of working hard, so he got himself a job. After hearing the lawnmower start, Ryan snapped a pic and posted it to social media. However, Ryan was about to take this one step further.
In order to help out the hardworking kid, Ryan went door to door with the boy in order to help earn him a little more business. Doing everything from mowing lawns to sweeping sidewalks, the teen was able to not only earn the money for a nice dinner, but flowers as well.
“I’m so happy this still exists,” Ryan wrote in his Facebook post that has since gone viral. “Hope is still alive for the future generation and our sons and daughters.”
