A Florida mother thought all four of her sons were long out the door and on their way to school when she heard something strange outside. After opening the front door to investigate what was going on, she was stopped in her tracks when she saw what they were really up to.
Before the first day of school for these brothers, who would be spread among three different campuses, the kids made a pact that their mother didn’t know about. When the day came, they carried out their plan, but their suspicious mother walked out and was shocked at what she saw.
The Jacksonville-area mother, who did not want to be named, told CBS 47 that a new rule was imposed on the students at each of her boys’ schools last year, but it didn’t sit well with them. Over the course of the summer, they decided what needed to be done when their mom found them circled together on her doorstep in what she referred to as a brothers prayer circle.

“Since they took prayer out of the schools, they pray before going to school,” the mom said. The oldest boy, who is a high school freshman and varsity football player, led the younger ones in the prayer, offering a blessing and protection over their first day in their new classes. Touched by the incredibly moving sight, the mother began recording as tears of pride welled up in her eyes.
She sent the footage to the news station to show that even though prayer has been removed from schools, kids can still come together and give their day and worries to God.
As proud as she is of her boys for doing this on their own accord, she should also give herself a pat on the back. She not only raised one son right, who is an excellent example to his siblings, she’s bringing up all four boys who will be a benefit to society, thanks to the morals and leadership she instilled in them.
