By Dreamer

Bran Castle, the inspiration for Dracula’s castle in Bram Stoker’s 1987 classic horror story, is for sale!

The castle dates back to the 13th century and is located in the Transylvania region of Romania.

The castle was used as a defense against the Ottoman Empire in the 1400

It also served as royal residence of the King of Romania in the 20th century

The character of Dracula purely fictitious but may have been partially based on Vlad the Impaler!

This hallway is the creepiest thing ever!

The castle is up for $80 million but the sellers are open to negotiation.

The interior is gorgeous, especially with those high ceilings

It is pretty cool to see the several different types of inspiration found in the movie Dracula!

Bran Castle is a popular tourist destination in Romania and reportedly receives around half a million visitors every year.

Pretty cool, right?
